how we celebrated the day of love

i can't believe we celebrated valentine's day a week ago, time keeps flying by. every day i urge it to slow down because my baby girl is growing too fast! we had fun celebrating her first valentine's day together. her and i hung out at home enjoying a lazy morning of extra long cuddles and silly songs. we dressed her up in her adorable 'love' shirt from nonnie and papa, and played the day away until daddy came home. we also celebrated baby g's three month birthday and took a few photos to document her cuteness and growth.

our hearts were both even happier when the mr. came home from work. we enjoyed the beautiful sunshine as a family and took a little stroll through the neighborhood. fresh air and sunshine always brightens our day. but nothing brightens my day quite like seeing my girl and her handsome daddy together. they adore each other! their eyes light up wen they're together and she stares at him with big smiles and total admiration.

after the walk we read a cute book, chatted, and relaxed on the couch. my sweet hubby wanted me to have some time to relax so he took our cutie and they picked up a delicious dinner from olive garden for us. i sat on the couch and watched the sun melt into the sky, it was beautiful.

my two valentines came home with the food and while i changed gracie's diaper craig set up our dinner. i came down to candlelight and a single rose laid across a silver platter. i giggled as i realized my man was creating our own real life version of 'the bachelor'. as we ate we asked each other some fun questions, causing us to reflect on our relationship and relive some of our very favorite memories. gracie was close by, keeping herself occupied blowing bubbles and providing comical background "music"...craig and i were cracking up as she tooted and tooted, and tooted some more. we could not believe all of that was coming out of such a little human, it was hilarious. and so perfect. a little romance and a little comedy, enjoying the night as a family. as we ended dinner, craig picked up the rose and gave me a sweet and silly speech about his love and "this date", then asked me if i would accept the rose. i love my man so much! i am so grateful to have my two valentines, they sure now how to make my heart happy.
