engagement anniversary

craig took this picture of me, one year ago today. standing on the pier in panama city beach with a 'smoothie king' smoothie in hand. we were enjoying the day together, talking about the future, browsing shops and  then later, a question. him asking, me answering. a question that changed both our lives forever. 

i remember the love and joy i felt that day. i was so excited and giddy to become mrs. harnois. and now, here i am. madly in love with my best friend. wondering every day how the next day my heart will keep from exploding with love for this man. sounds mushy and sappy, but it's true. i'm constantly head over heels for this guy. and i love it! he still makes me blush, i still find butterflies floating in my tummy when our hands meet, he still melts me when he kisses my forehead. and i'm lucky enough to have him as my best friend, standing by my side forever. it's so fun to think back on this day last year... i remember a breeze in the air, the saltwater smell and the color of the sun setting into the ocean. one of the best days of my life!
